RUN or WALK with us!
We are participating in the 2024 Colfax Marathon and we NEED YOU! We are looking to get at least 25 people register to run or walk with us!

We hope to have least 25 people register to run or walk with us - if we can get that many folks involved, we will be able to have a tent in the nonprofit village to hang out and increase visibility in the community!
current impact
Since March 2022, we have been working directly with folks who have experienced intimate partner violence by providing job-readiness and self-sufficiency classes. Over the course of 6 weeks, survivors learn tools to: recognize their own skills; create a budget; craft a visually appealing resume and cover letter; navigate job search platforms; and use Google Workspace. Survivors progress through the curriculum as a cohort so they can build a community of support.

This will continue to be our model until we are able to secure funding to expand our services and bring our future vision to life.
future vision
The vision of Undestructable is to be a survivor-centered and empowerment-based job readiness and employment program focused on economic security and environmental sustainability.
​
This vision will be realized through a jobs skills training curriculum where survivors will learn how to create and sell goods from reclaimed materials, navigate the job search process, learn basic financial management skills, and build community.
The profits from the sale of goods being produced will help provide sustainable funding to the organization to ensure we can continue offering employment to survivors. Economic independence for survivors of DV/IPV can provide the stability needed to secure safety and move forward from their trauma.
Undestructable’s goal is to empower survivors by providing a safe space to reclaim, reimagine and rebuild their lives after experiencing the trauma of DV/IPV, and to create a future for themselves that is safe, stable, and sustainable.
